Something Old, Something Blue.....
november 30, 2012 06:30pm
I am so pleased with how my newest custom bridal headpiece turned out! My customer wanted to incorporate lace from her mother's wedding gown into her headpiece. The first picture on the left was how the lace was sent to me. The picture in the middle is how I designed the lace into the headpiece. The picture on the right shows how I used the excess lace as a headband to go with the headpiece. This is truly "something old" and "something blue" all in one piece!

Meet Lucy
november 27, 2012 03:43pm
Meet Lucy everyone! She makes my life a lot easier. :) Everyday she allows me to design headpieces on her head. Right now, she is wearing a custom piece I made for a Christmas gift that a customer ordered. The centerpiece was actually one of my grandmother's vintage earrings. I know the person this piece is going to, and I know my grandmother would be so proud knowing someone like her will be wearing it. Merry Christmas everyone!

Looking for quality fabrics in Austin......
november 14, 2012 01:12pm
So after recently moving to Austin, I was in search for a GREAT fabric store! After driving around pretty much every area of the city, I finally came across this awesome fabric store called, "The Common Thread". I purchased beautiful jewel tone silk fabrics for my new collection. Next task- finding great vintage and antique stores!
